
Officials of the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia took part in the 13th International Forum “Anti- Counterfeiting - 2025” and a training program on the intellectual property system, held in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.
From October 6 to 11, 2025, in Minsk, Republic of Belarus, the 13th International Forum titled “Anti-Counterfeiting - 2025” and the 5th International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Intellectual Property in Contemporary World: Current Challenges and Development Prospects” were jointly organized by the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus and the National Center of Intellectual Property, with support from the United Nations Development Programme in Belarus.During the conference, participants discussed issues related to information systems in the fields of economy, public administration, and science and technology, as well as the current state of intellectual property in society and other sectors, key challenges, and development trends. The discussions also covered scientific research and practical applications concerning the future development of intellectual property in Belarus and other countries, as well as measures to combat counterfeit products, particularly the protection of intellectual property rights.
Additionally, the Eurasian Patent Organization and the National Center of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Belarus jointly organized a training program for officials of the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia. The training covered topics including the intellectual property system of Belarus, protection of trademarks and geographical indications, limitations of copyright and related rights, advantages and prospects of the Eurasian patent system, specific features and emerging issues in AI-based patent protection, and the use of intellectual property rights in domestic and international markets. Certificates were awarded to the participants upon completion.
